WTF is this? A Malicamino? An El Cabu?

The submitter wrote: “The back half has been turned into a bed, complete with rhino liner.  As far at chop jobs go, this one was well thought out.  Wish we had caught a back side pic, it looks like a newer Corvette from behind.”

  3. Actually, the front end is off of an Impala. Definitely not a Malibu. I wish I saw the back half and side shot too!

  7. Quite a common site here in Australia. Not necessarily that model of car but normal australian cars that people have converted to Utilities or UTES as we call them here. They can come off the showroom floor with over 500hp rear wheel drive.

  13. Yes, the front end used to be an Impala. I’m going to call it a “Palomino.”

  19. This guy actually stopped in at the body shop I used to work at to get directions to the shop to get it rhino-lined. It was actually pretty well done, he’s a 70 yr old farmer from NE Oklahoma. I asked him if he knew that they sold “trucks” so he didn’t have to do all that work. He said it was rolled when he bought it, so he just turned it into a truck.
