That can be rectified. At least that one isn’t painted with a Chester The Molester-looking candy logo or stupid spinners.
At least he didn’t butcher the original hood so he can put it back together as it came from the factory. Smart move Bubba! And nice car too! Hurst Cutlasses are pretty hard to find!
I think they need to go to the junkyard, buy a new hood, and start over. This looks stupid as hell.
My guess is it’s not finished yet…probably a hood scoop will top it. That won’t work in rain.

Hurst/Olds Cutlass is a gorgeous car. Probably yanked the 307 Olds out and swapped in a big block or something. Definitely needs a scoop to cover that huge ass hole. Then paint the hood.

Back in the early 80′s I saw a cherry 70 Roadrunner with the 440+6 hood. A week later he had painted out the 440 and put ‘fish’ stickers in their place.
