Does the cabint door open and close and if so he did what he was required to do. If you want new cabinets save your money and buy a house and then you can have new cabinets until then shut the F#$K UP!!!!!

I’m not the Landlord just a realistic person, why is it that the place you rent is good enough until you get in there and all of a sudden you want everything replaced because you pay rent, Also your landlord is a cheapskate because he fixed instead of replacing the door. get real you are a tenant and you have the right to leave if you want to otherwise shut the F#CK UP!!!!!!

It is cheap, ugly, poorly done, pathetic, obnoxious, nasty, half-assed, in-your-face, proudly ignorant, and “on the right wing” (of the cabinet – ZING!)… It also reinforces antiquated, worn-out things which should have been discarded decades ago and really SCREWS it to the cabinet door, just like the GOP rich fat-cats who are too good to pay their fair share (most likely including your landlord…)

@Dave: I submitted this. You gotta admit it’s a shitty repair job, by all accounts. Nothing lasts forever, and if a cabinet door falls off, I think I’m within my rights to ask the landlord to replace it, not just apply some Bondo and random screws and call it a day. Ever hear the term SLUMLORD? You’re right, I pay rent,and for $1120 a month I expect to not have to live in a shithole.

Also I own my home and when I did rent I made my own repairs because I wanted it done right also any place that I rented I left in better condition than when I moved in..I was not your typical renter that just moves in and just because I pay rent start bitching for things to be replaced. why do you think your rent is what it is…cabnet doors are not free who do you think will pay for one if he can find one to match the tenant which is you so thats real smart increase you rent even more.

BTW, the cabinet was like that when I moved in, which means a FORMER tenant had it repaired. All I did was submit a photo of the shitty repair job.

@jersygirl, what happened did I hit a nerve, you say this was done before you moved in so how do you know the Landlord did this repair and not a previous renter so he didn’t loose any of his deposit?????? Seriously, you should consult with your local renter’s representative and/or housing authority and see if you can at least get the landlord to cough up some money for your inconvenience… I did that with a cheap cunt landlord a few years back when I was in school and the bastard not only had to pay me for his shoddy, substandard “work” but I ALSO got free rent for 3 months while I found a new place! It’s time for regular people like us to show these cocksuckers that we’re not going to take their SHIT lying down!
