Wearing Protection

So just how safe is it to weld with a paper mask?  So what do you lasted longer the mask or his eyes from the blinding light?  FAIL!

  11. Notice the military fatigues. This may have been a trick he picked up in the military. Ultraviolet light will not penetrate paper, but I still can’t fathom how he can follow a line like that. Also, as a welder myself, I will vouch for the earlier comment that flashburn really sucks.

  13. Gary R – it is not a US Military uniform. I am with the DOD in Afghanistan we had a local (all of our labor is locals) come out to weld a railing up as a safety between 2 shipping containers that are sitting a top 2 others (will be submitting pictures of our white trash repairs over here in a couple of days) while he did use welding goggles that was all he had of the right equipment – he used jumper cables running from his truck battery to do the welding but what do you expect for 20 bucks a day for labor
