This is what you get if a van and a truck mated. The submitter wrote: “Saw this at a grocery store in Florida. A truck? A van? How about a Vanuck?” Its ugly but nicely done!

WHO SAYS it’s nicely done?
It looks like the pickup versions of the Corvair, Econoline and Dodge D100 vans from the ’60s. A++!
Alan beat me to it, that’s exactly what I thought when I saw it; old Econoline pickup. I bet when it’s finished it will be sharp
Ditto on the old Econoline / Corvair lookalike. Some of the Corvairs had the tailgate in the side, they were really cool looking.
i have seen several of these old econolines made into a pickup, but this is the first one where the maker cared to move the rear end up and weld it in place behind the seats, instead of using plywood or something like that…
‘These old Econolines’? Look on the side; it clearly says GMC, not Ford. And I could’ve told you that without seeing any badges.
i agree with alan as well
Wow, Charles, you’re such a…………..er,uh……………such a…………..well, I’ll think of a word here, eventually.
