The Right Tool For The Job

It’s a cut-off screwdriver jammed through a couple holes this bubba drilled into the door handle receiver in order to hold the handle down and avoid the tedium of unlocking the door every day. Really makes a statement about the state of Canadian healthcare when shortcuts like this and the handyman’s toolbox start appearing in the health care facilities (Vice-grips in lieu of forceps in the ER…No kidding! Yikes!) What really screams redneck about this is the obvious care and attention that went into the start of the job by cutting the screwdriver down to appropriate length, drilling the holes the right size, and even attaching a blingin’ chain to avoid tragic loss this sweet piece of work… then complete failure to finish the job by trimming off the excess zap strap!”

Maybe that’s why health care is so affordable in Canada!!
Their tax dollars at work…or not.
