Flap
Qualified Redneck Repair
“My friend with no spare got a stick the size of my thumb through the sidewall of his tire. We broke the bead so we could reach a hand inside the tire, then cut rubber washers from the inner fender flap on his Toyota. Using a bolt, metal washer and rubber washer on the outside, and a rubber washer, metal washer, and nut on the inside, we plugged the hole pumped the tire up, and he drove home. Rumor has it he drove around town like that for over a week (which I think qualifies it as a redneck repair).”
