Found in a Chinese Restaurant. I’m wondering why they didn’t just replace the seat, I mean after all aren’t they made in China?

This fix was made in China, ok not really but it was done by a Chinese family.I think this is a great fix. Doesn’t everyone have bunches of key chain rings?
