Car Stereo Installation gone bad
“Bought a used car the radio lit up but didn’t work – when I pulled it out to figure out why, this is what I found. Not only are the wirenuts not supposed to be there, notice the lack of antenna connector on the end of the antenna wire.”
French radio switch
The submitter wrote: “My Car-radio wouldn’t stop pumping current from the battery, even if I turn the radio off. So I found a solution to fix the problem, use a bedside lamp between the battery and the power supply of the radio. Add some band-aids to hold it, making it reachable with my right hand while driving. Works great. I called it “French switch” just because I’m a french guy.”
