OK if you are going to be so cheap and make a cardboard drawer front then at least take it one step forward and color it the right color to match the cabinets.
High tech cabinet knobs
The submitter wrote: “We went to the Outer Banks for vacation and the EXPENSIVE house my wife chose to rent had a bit to be desired in upkeep. Two of the knobs to the cabinets had been broken off leaving the screw and the nut to grab to open the cabinet. I took a couple of beer bottle caps, drove a hole through them with a nail and used the existing hardware to furnish a workable knob in 5 minutes. No duct tape needed for this one!”
White-Trash Cabinet-Hinge Repair
The submitter wrote: “Our cheapskate landlord’s obvious attempt at repairing a broken cabinet-hinge. The cabinets are only 35 years old…install new ones!”
