Sunroof A/C
Dang its hot out! I’m so glad I have a sunroof which is now a A/C roof. Yep a metal plate, A/C unit with duct and a power cord running down the side…Oh yeah I’m not only cool I’m cold!

WOW that makes the car aerodynamic
this must be for when he’s parked. How to you wire up an A/C unit like that to run when your driving?
I love it, and I bet its cold as hell in that car….lol
as for power (a 110 volt power inverter) from home depot will do the trick right off the battery or into the cigarette lighter….
Where the heck do they live?? The Sahara?? wow!!
This: I visited Phoenix in August. Got to see a pro baseball game for free (NOT nosebleed section). For the heat, and size of city, I wouldn’t live there for less than a 6 figure income. The heat there is rather crazy, and I already live in the SW desert. I don’t blame them, and it is a more fuel-efficient way of getting refrigerated air than using a vehicle’s A/C system.
The method of using this has already been mentioned.
You cannot be serious! It’s all I can do to stop laughing and type this.
I know I already posted on this, but I can’t get it out of my head. I used to live in Tucson, AZ, and even on the sweltering days in August when it got up to 117 degrees I never would have even dreamed of something like this…which has led me to the conclusion that must be where the idea came from, it was some bizarre dream image the Bubba decided to turn into reality.
That’s terribly inefficient. The air intake should be ducted to the interior of the car. Otherwise, the unit has to work twice as hard to cool the hot outside air. With just a little more duct work, this could have been made to run way better.
