Once again its how much crap can you pile on a trunk? At the very least you think you could close the trunk but nope. If you get in an accident with the sofa like that it will become a sofa rocket launcher.

Nice way to ruin the trunk lid.Now they can invest in Bungee Cords to hold it closed.You can take the Redneck out of the Country but not far ’cause they abuse their vehicles!
Ah, the good ol’ American hunk of Detroit Iron, multiple-use car. In the South they use them for many things; hauling furniture, hauling landscaping, including dirt, rocks, sand, etc, hauling manure (whether in bags or by the bulk “all yew kin haul in yer trunk, Bubba”) I mean, if ya got a big and old enought hunk of Detroit Iron, you can remove parts and use it for ANYTHING!
