Shocking!
Obviously this person didn’t go to pre-school. I mean really isn’t rule number one in pre-school “Don’t put anything in an electrical outlet.”

That is a European outlet. More proof of global white trash!
Being a European style outlet, that’s most likely ALSO a 240V outlet, twice the voltage that we use here.
We need a after shock picture.
It’s an outlet from the UK. The scissors are taking the place of a fuse. And it looks like it might be a cable leading to a toaster or kettle, in which case the fuse would be a 13amp one. And yes Joe, our outlets are 240Volts.
The scissors are replacing the fuse, but the outlet isn’t live, it is switched off. One can only hope that they took this picture and then thought better of the idea and didn’t actually turn the power on. While it is a UK outlet it isn’t a UK appliance so who knows where the person doing this is actually from.
Probably ran with the scissors first!
At least he’s not running with them
Well, I guess it would complete the circuit, but I can’t say having something that sticks out that far would be a good idea and God help them if they have a kid around!
Also, I have to wonder if that kind of voltage would melt the handles right off of those scissors?
Folks, please don’t try this at home. This guy is a trained professional. At least that’s what his tombstone says !!!!
You could touch that scissors and not get a shock IF you were NOT grounded (standing on a rubber mat).
