Redneck insulation

To keep her from being too cold, I had to go full redneck: I got two insulation panels, a can of white spray paint and a roll of white duct tape. The fixed part of the door has 3/4″ insulation taped to the outside. I put a 1/2″ panel on the sliding half and cut it down to let light in. It’s a lot warmer in that corner now and it doesn’t look too bad.”

If you don’t use that door much during the winter, simply doing a ‘full plastic seal’ might have been cheaper and simpler. Just sayin’.
or, maybe just move the damn desk! Occam’s Razor – Frustra fit per plura quod potest fieri per pauciora [It is futile to do with more things that which can be done with fewer]. Or is that too complicated?
um…insulation doesn’t do any good on the OUTSIDE dumbass!
