Redneck ignition switch on snow sled

The submitter wrote: “rigged up a push-pull switch instead of a key”  OK why did you do this?  Doesn’t this make it easier to steal?

   Judging by the condition of the ignition panel, why would anyone want to steal it?

   My brother nicknamed “Hillbilly” actually had this set-up on his Gremlin. Finally it did get stolen. Not really a loss it was a Gremlin.

   in the country, you are safe to leave your house doors unlocked and keys in your car – let alone your snowmobile… you use the parts you have around… i gotta give him an A for having the knowledge to set it up.

   ya im pretty sure thats not a car or truck. ive never seen a choke lever on a car or truck before, but i could be wrong. looks more like a lawnmower or something to that sort.
