  5. 1 – using all that water will be closer to $5.00 or so (with out soap!)
2 – anon – this is a rock crawler … if you mounted the rad in the front, it might last 5 minutes before being destroyed on rocks.

  7. radiator stays cleaner back there.
Car wash owners hate muddy trucks clogging up their drains. The sprinkler gets some of the big chunks off at least. I’ve seen people put those arched back-and-forth sprinklers underneath their trucks to get the mud off the undercarriage. If you hit it full force with a water hose you just push the mud deeper into crevices.

  9. I’ve done this. It’s way easier to clean when the the mud is wet. After it dries you can spend all day and never get everything cleaned. Soaking it for an hr with a sprinkler softens it up and then it comes off better.

  11. Actually, they mount the radiator in between the bars angling down from a roll bar, not up against the cab of the truck.
