Need A Lift?

Yeah somehow I think OSHA would have something to say about this one.  Would you stand on the top forklift?

   forklifts are really heavy and well counterbalanced… I wouldn’t be afraid to stand on the top forklift at all

   I nearly lost a finger-tip standing on the forks of a lift. I needed a boost up to the office roof. No Sir, I wouldn’t recommend it.

   funny you mention OSHA. They showed this last year in the OSHA 30 class I had to take last month. The instructor called this section “you may be a dead redneck if you…”

   The lumber yard I worked at had this huge helium balloon to advertise a big sale at different stores, they’d send it in on the truck, unload it with the forklift and ‘release’. However, our store, the forklift didn’t reach high enough to lift the lid off the box, so they had to drive the forklift through the store to the loading dock (it used to be an old parts warehouse) and then onto the back of the truck that they used to back up to the box and lift the lid off… I seriously wish I had pictures of it.
