Franken Truck

OK not to bad on the bondo repair but what is with the lines and X’s?  Are you going for the Frankenstein look?  If you are you need to add a few bolts to the truck, just saying.

  1. Is that lines and “X”‘s, OR, is it actual cracks in a fiberglass panel that they are holding together with black zip-ties!?!? That would be true redneck repairing!

  3. If you are going to add bolts to your truck for the true Frankenstein look, bolt one to the gas tank.

  5. Zip ties, baby…

The quarters on those new stepside trucks are usually made out of a big piece of sheet-molded plastic, and when they crack it’s usually Game Over unless you have specialized tools to repair them.

This repair is GREAT because it limits the damage until someone with the right tools can either repair or replace that panel! A++

  7. Something just seems wrong about a truck body that cracks.
    1) Either your truck is for show only and you should have a car.
    2) You actually use your truck for real hauling and instead of
denting its going to crack the first time a problem comes up.
