The submitter wrote: “I was driving through San Antonio, and spotted this engineering marvel. It appears to be a ford van…or, Truck…. Vuck. I caught up to the fellow to snap a few pics. He didn’t appreciate my interest in his vehicle and gave me the bird and took off down a back road. I was laughing so hard I couldn’t get a pic of him, but he was shirtless, complete with guess what, a mullet. Its a shame ford doesn’t make a truck… Oh wait!!”

Actually both Ford and Chevy did something similar in the early to mid 60′s…Ford, with the Econoline “pick-up’ and Chevy with the Corvair….I dont recall what Chevy called theirs, but I do remember the door on the side that opened like a ramp….and truthfully, I thought it was pretty cool…
The corvair with the door on the side was called the loadside,they were pretty cool.

I’m thinking he probably thought he had a great idea and didn’t like the submitter’s picture takin’ idea stealin’! That’s what happened with his blanket with sleeves idea, and his bidnis and fun haircut idea.
