Double Wide…
I’m thinking we have a couple of possibilities here: Summer and winter house for those staycations, Bubba added on a mother-in-law suite, Bubba got so fat eating moon-pies that he now requires a double wide…..

the question here is… did they rip the center walls out, or just match up the doors…. hope the water heaters aren’t on the inside wall… be a bear to get out
That’s actually good use of two mobile homes. The drawback is that valley between them. It can leak easily!
You Know I’m from Wasilla Alaska and this sorta thing is normal…I dont see the humor.
Looks, easy, cheap, and no problem.
I live in a mobile home and if I could do this, I would. I own my land it sits on but there are alot of restrictions. I would put a “roof over” and some siding on the ones pictured. My dad is a 76 year old “bubba” he has this thing called a “Monster” it has a boom on it that has a serious wench. Im planning on taking some pics of it this weekend and submitting them
This site editor is someone who has never earned their own living and still lives in mama’s house. If this PAID-FOR Comfortable HOME was a quarter million dollar POS with an up-side down mortage you’d be reading all ooh/aah Captions.Better to OWN a tent than have to share with a bank that is Paid by White Trash TAXES.
@Caucasian Cousin wow struck a nerve huh? Who knew trailer park people were so sensitive. Is this your house?
Hell my husband and I lived in the very same situation for four years! My daddy put the two together when he passed away we moved our family in. No it wasnt the best! But it was huge 4 bed 4 bath 2 kitchens 2 living rooms. We heated with a would burner and a/c was ALOT of window units! Oct 09′ we purchased a new home and put it in the same spot that my daddys home set! We managed to save alot of money living in his homemade double-wide. Enough to put down on our new home! So whoever lives there. ROCK ON!
My cousin did this with a home trailer and an office trailer (like they use at construction sites). They put a roof over it and sided the whole thing, added a high efficency wood stove. It doesn’t leak, it’s warm, and it’s huge. My cousin and her husband fixed it up really nice inside, 4 bedrooms, huge living room, big dining room. It turned out really nice, but they put a little more effort into theirs than this one.
Clubhouse for the redneck branch of the “He-Man Woman Haters’ Club,” perhaps?
Double wide isn’t the problem… mix and match is. My mother’s people live in North Carolina… plenty of trailers there… HOWEVER most Northerners wouldn’t know they were trailers if you didn’t tell them.
Why? Cause someone made an effort! LOL. No mixie matchie… nice porch, overhang to keep the cars cooler in the summer.
Really… a lick of paint would have done WONDERS!
I will give them extra points though… they at least look even, which is more than I can say for one of my cousin’s places…
Anyone can have a double wide, I want a double TALL!
