Chair Holder

i just noticed i had this in my front room. i built this because my wife needed to sit down and our computer chair broke, so now she has a nice floaty chair!

   How does this qualify as a white trash repair? It’s just chains wrapped in duct tape. And they’re bolted down good.

   I would have considered punching holes over the door header for the chains, before even remotely coming up with this “idea”.

   Better: Screw hooks into (a) ceiling joist(s); suspend from that.
