Barrel Sled
The submitter wrote: “when my shed caught on fire, my son’s sled was burnt up with it, when we had all this snow come in i had some free time at work and made this one out of a plastic barrel, some bucket handles and a piece of rope. the thing works greatand he loves it” OK we say A+ here dad!

It’s stronger, more durable, more steady, and probably faster than any of the crap you could buy from the stores- that’s pure genius ingenuity there!
Necessity is the mother of invention. That there sled is better than sliding down the hill on an old used chicken box like we had to do!
