   This a CHEEP effective method.. and besides , WTF are you supposed to do with the normal outlet guards after the kid is grown? landfill? *tsk tsk*

   I had to do this (except with packing tape) as a temporary fix to my baby getting into the outlets after we moved. It worked!

   And if you need to plug in an appliance faster than you can peel the tape, just stick the plug thru the tape into the outlet. After you unplug, just stick a fresh piece of tape over the holes.
