My dad Garry is the master at redneck creations. If he can think it he can make it happen. Anything from a deck of pallets to several 4×4 vehicles including a 71 Vega, GMC van, and his latest a Chevy cavalier. He can make his own tools to get any job done if need be. He also enjoys drag racing his Dixon with his grandson.
My husband Jon “JD” Deardorff is a self proclaimed redneck. His household tools include zip ties, duct tape and rope. Our garbage can handle is a rope and the hood release on my car is a wire tied to the latch and run through the grill. His hobbies are include NASCAR and rescuing lizards. The attached pictures are 1) JD a few years ago holding his iguana, Iggy, out front of the trailer, 2) JD relaxing on his John Dear tractor pillow with Iggy on top of his head, 3) JD in his NASCAR shirt holding our grandson,Chase, in a John Dear shirt, 4) JD watching a street rod parade wearing his NASCAR bandana with his iguana, Lucky on his head.
